Position Title: Retail Associate (part time / full time)

We bring salon-quality nail trends to your fingertips with handmade and packaged press-on nails, offering over 100 styles that reflect your attitude and individuality.
In August 2025, we're launching our first retail experience in LA, where customers can try on nails and have them professionally applied—getting in and out in just 30 minutes.
Beyond nails, Bad Moody collaborates with community brands from Asia and LA, curating exclusive drops in skincare, streetwear, ceramics, and more. We’re here to celebrate your moody style and build a creative, connected community.
Role Description (part time/ full time)
This role requires training for Press-on nails application (training provided by Bad Moody)as a retail associate located in Los Angeles, CA. This role is responsible for
- applying press-on nails for customers
- day-to day tasks: cashier check out, managing inventory, assist customer experience and providing customer-focused service.
- back-of-house operations, including product packaging, restocking, and inventory organization.
Applicants 2 Weeks Training:
- Educate customers on all product features, application tips.
- Applicants are required to know how to apply press-on nails and basic knowledge of press-on nails, training will be provided by Bad Moody
Qualifications
- Completing 2 weeks training provided by Bad Moody
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities
- Experience in providing Customer-focused Service and ensuring excellent Customer Experience
- Knowledge of Inventory Management
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail experience is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

- Tips based- Tips from customer directly goes to the retail associate
- Team members become eligible for sales commission beginning in their third month at Bad Moody, based on performance and sales contributions.
- Retail associates receive 50% of the Application Fee per client as part of their commission structure, in addition to hourly pay.
- Hourly rate from $16-$21/ hour depending on experiences
